Hi and thanks for asking
WOW a C&C question...been a long time

first, you need to use the code (i can send my maps.txt file for details)
..when the game is open, goto options and look lower right...it should say
SCzxxyy, with the z being either G for GDI or B for Brotherhood of NOD, xx
being the level number, and yy the arrow designation. this is SCG06ea.:
===================start==========
SCG06ea Czech republic AKA "The Commando Mission"

first save early save often

i stopped blowing up all SAM "I've Got a Present for Ya" sites (except for
the original two, of course) since
1) the occupants tend to shoot and weaken my commando
2) they are protected by tanks, buggies, etc

try to get to your helicopter with minimal damage, your health status should
be green. Be sure to point the demo charge in the middle of the SAM sites.

once you land and disembark in the smoke, go straight north, shoot any
troops you see - "That Was Left Handed", but run PAST the vehicles. (the
high powered rifle is no match for an armored Hum-Vee) take the second east
turn (do not go all the way north)
do not go directly into the compound, but go to the high ground just south
and pick off the sentries and the flamers. then go in

i do not agree with those who say that you should just blow up any building.
If you blow up the airstrip (northeast corner). you skip level 7, but what
fun is that?

if you blow the refinery (straight east from entrance), it is not available
to NOD on level 7, .Or take out the barracks (south of entrance) and it is
not available on level 7
Either one makes level 7 alot easier. alot.

Or if you like the challenge, blow up anything other than the airstrip ,the
refinery or the barracks and go for it.

Also, if you win level 7, you can build money at the end of level 7 to use
at the begining of level 8, making it easier.Email me for my Dec 1 tip of
the week to see how. (it is tipc&c.txt) .

===============end walkthru=====================

I also can send a tipC&C.txt file that will get you more money to start
other levels with...not a cheat but a strategy C&C built in..

Do you have the FAQ by ROGER WONG ? The FAQ is my bible. 135 pages of
data, tips and suggested strategies for C&C, Covert Ops, and Multiplay. I
can send it to you, but it is 295kb long, so let me know if that is ok...

thanks for that trip down memory lane

To amplify on both these points:

With your health at max (commando or helicopter), save BEFORE each engagement.
If your engagement leaves you damaged, you can return to the save immediately
prior and repeat the engagement. If you are happy with your health after the
engagement, save again and you won't have to repeat it.

I figured with a name like "Cipollina" you would have more of an Italian
flavor. Also I was born and raised in Syracuse, so I guess we are on the
same side.

Now I will turn around so you can be behind me.
