Hi everyone, I'm currently writing a tool for C&C called "C&C Command Centre" (yes, CCCC <g>) which will ease the process of managing custom level files and lots of other stuff. Something I'd like to include is the ability to change the sounds of C&C. I know they're out there somewhere - probably in SOUNDS.MIX and/or SPEECH.MIX. I know that I can extract and replace them (Mixman is the proof), but what I really don't know is the format in which they're stored in those files! Are they raw signed/unsigned sample data? Or is the sample data compressed? 8bit? 16bit? Phew... that's why I'm looking for information on that sample format (and the MIX file format in general). I wonder if you guys could help me out please, I'd really appreciate it!! Greetings, Hendrik
