Yeah, it would be really handy, but I can't get it to work. Surely, by
pressing ALT and clicking on the bikes, should make the Harv squish the
bikes... but my Harv just sits next to it getting blasted. Same thing
happens when I try to run down sandbags/walls with tanks that are meant to
be able to roll over them.

Same thing : happens when I try to run down sandbags/walls with tanks that are meant to : be able to roll over them. I have the same problem even when it comes to targeting walls/sandbags. I click on it, or hold control and click on it, and the unit just sits there and ignores my command. The only way for me to intentionally blast through a wall if there is not target on the other side is to put one of my own units on the other side and force my unit to fire at it. I've never played multiplayer, mind you... Charlie Younghusband

I've heard it mentioned here that harvesters have been known to attack tanks if there is no tiberium left to harvest (only under the control of the computer though). What I want to know is how did they do? Were they immediatly mauled, or did they inflict some damage?

You have to get them side on, V.Hard to do with the vehicle thats being attacked by the bike considering the bike turns with the vehicle.

That is a very good thing actually, :) against computer you just pinch the enemy harvester once and it will try to go and crush you wherever you go, INCLUDING your base with tens of turrets etc.... Happy hunting.
