Having just purchased C&C (1.07), I am surprised to see all this talk of
patches. What bugs or problems am I likely to run into ? Should I not bother
with the patch until I encounter problems, or just put it straight in.

Where is the safest place to go for the patch (virus wise etc). ?

All I know for sure is that the game is great - no more sleep for me !
