The questions I posted last time were answered well enough, so I figured I try again. I got a scenario working using the ini file method. I had some units, some rocks, some craters, and some structures. It was stupid, but playable. But I came across two problems. 1) The water. At the bottom of the map on GDI one there is some water where the hovercraft bring in reinforcements. Well, I did'nt have reinforcements... that's a few jumps ahead. In the area where the water was, I got a strange kind of blank out. You could still see some water but most of it was blanked out. It's hard to explain. It looked like a HOM if you've ever made Doom levels. HOM stands for Hall Of Mirrors. Whenever a unit would pass over these areas, you'd see the unit repeated over and over in that section. It looked ugly anyway. Is there anything specific that should be done about water? 2) The Map part of cc-scen. There is that section of cc-scen that is called Map. I assumed this would allow editing of mountain sides and things like that. I tried sticking some of that stuff in just to see what it would do but nothing happened. None of this section was explained in Andrew's docs. The mountains that were in the original GDI mission one were still there, as well as the roads. Does anyone know why? Thanks for the help. I'm getting there. If I ever figure this out I plan on writing a "C&C editor for Dummies" tutorial. Someone just has to help this dummy through it first. -T

Water only works (as far as I experienced) in Winter and Desert theater. However, those rivers that work on Winter theater will not work on desert- Desert theater has its own river name, hence water also. > 2) The Map part of cc-scen. This was Andrew's error in his documentation on the original release of cc-scen, however he updated the documentation. Just read his new docs or download it from his homepage. > > Thanks for the help. I'm getting there. If I ever figure this out I >plan on writing a "C&C editor for Dummies" tutorial.
