Good evening ladies, DENY ACCESS They key is to block the accessability of your construction yard. Build it up against the side of the screen, or against a ridge in the natural terrain. Write to me (rag...@powhq.nildram.co.uk) if you want to know more about my efforts at producting full size, full color, PAPER maps of the standard multiplayer map terrain. You can build your important structures in such a way as to create a natural barrier between the path of enemy tanks and your construction yard. Because players tend to concentrate solely on removing the key buildings, tank rushes are slowed as they maneuver into firing range. REPAIR TO DEFEAT Build a barracks behind your construction yard. If you are in the northern part of the map, you can actually hide it well. The point is to have a place from where you can send engineers without getting them squashed. The engineers will keep your construction yard alive long enough for you to dent your opposition. SUMMARY The principles of denial of access and repairing to defeat help me survive enemy first-strikes. Thus, allowing my own tanks a counter strike at the enemy and still have a home to which they can return. References Chad "Boomer" Fairchild, original concept.
