I don't have DR, so can't comment, but TA is really cool. There are lots
of good units for Arm and Core, and in battle each unit has pros and
cons so you have to build carefully. There are lots of aircraft and
ships (I've only used the ships so far but they are great). The missions
get pretty tough round about level 5 or 6 and should keep you busy for a
while. I'm still trying to get my mate to buy TA so I can't comment on
multiplayer.

Another game to consider is Age of Empires which looks like a cross
between RA and Civilization. There is a lot of discussion about this and
all the other games in comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.strategic so I would
suggest having a look there for more info.
