I agree wholeheartedly (sp). We all know it's not "real" 3D, but I
think the effects that some of the better cards produce are simply
amazing and even beautiful. Tomb Raider, for instance, has awesome
graphics which are beautiful, especially the underwater scenes. No
one asked for a "holographic" image. If we wanted it that bad, the 3D
games out there today wouldn't be as popular as they are. Besides all
of that, to the people who are buying these games, it _IS_ 3D. ya
know! Let me tell you, in Descent, sometimes I actually duck or lean
in response to the flying or fighting while I'm playing the game. I
don't think I'm the only one who does this either. So until something
a lot more real-looking comes out, I think everyone's gonna be hooked
on this stuff for a while. Myself included!
