While I have always avoided posting to this thread because it seemed
like a stupid spam to the incorrect newsgroups, I just had to here.

Everything above should be stapled to the forehead of every new
"net-sage-guru-wannabe" that comes into the newsgroups and hops on the
"microsoft sucks" bandwagon without a clue as to what they are saying. I
still laugh every time I see these "children" comment about what they
don't comprehend. Any of the older generation understand the state of
the industry before one or two operating systems became dominant.
Didn't Microsoft invent the word "compatable" ??? :)

Microsoft products are as good, if not better, than their competitors.
The reality seems to be that people are envious of MS's superior
marketing abilities. Also, all the press coverage of Bill Gates net
worth has villified him as some sort of greedy "computer baron". He owns
alot of stock in a company that he created and that company makes alot
of money. End of story.
