Don't respond to "inappropriate" postings on the newsgroup.
Create a kill-file if your provider has capability 
(unfortunately, mine does not.)

If you absolutely, positively must respond, take it to 
e-mail.

If it is offensive to you, send an e-mail complaint to 
the postmaster or webmaster or whatever they are called 
for the access provider.

Ignoring it means there will only be one post & not 
many follow-ups. Unfortunately, ignoring is sometimes
difficult especially for those of us, like me, who are
a little - er - a lot - smart alecky.

If your newgroup has an FAQ, add this topic. See the
rec.autos FAQ for an example.

Please forgive me for cross-posting to all the groups 
originally inundated with the WACKY KIDS posts. I read
several of the cross-posted groups & so I've seen this
post several times.
