It's amazing how we all spend our time posting that there are no cheat codes for Red Alert and Command and Conquer, yet the AOLamers continue to post requests for cheat codes. Don't they know how to read threads? Does AOL's software delete any message saying that there are no cheat codes? To make matters even worse, is it written someplace that if someone flames an AOLamer for posting a cheat code request, other AOLamers must immediately send e-mail to the flamer asking for the cheat codes? I received no less than 12 e-mails this morning from dumb-assed AOLamers in response to a message I posted. My message was flaming a stupid AOLamer (I realize that "stupid" and "AOLamer" are redundant, but I digress) for asking for cheat codes. I expected that the mail replies were weak attempts at response flames by some limp-dicked AOLamers who were going to call me names using no punctuation (and hey, flames from AOLamers are entertaining - how many different ways can YOU come up with to misspell "asshole?" There are at least four, judging from AOLamer hate mail), but NO, they were AOLamers ASKING FOR CHEAT CODES!!! Some of them even QUOTED my original flame, yet they somehow thought that meant, "I have cheat codes, send me e-mail!" AAUUUGH!! So, as a public service message to all you low-IQ AOLamers (again, a redundancy) who can't seem to get a clue about this, go back and read all the messages regarding cheat codes. I highly doubt AOL's half-assed mail reader can do subject or text searches, but scroll through the last day or two's messages manually (assuming AOL even keeps messages that long.) Anywhere you see a cheat request, read the replies. Notice that the posters are usually quite annoyed that yet another clueless AOLamer is asking once again for cheat codes. Notice also that the answer is always the same - there ARE NO CHEAT CODES. If you are that fucking stupid that you don't know how to play Command and Conquer or Red Alert without having to resort to cheating, then return the game and let someone smarter play it. When Red Alert first came out, it was in such high demand that people couldn't find it for the first week or so. I shudder to think how many copies were wasted by falling into the hands of some moronic AOLamer who has no idea how to play any game unless they can make themselves invulnerable and blow through the missions in one night. C&C and RA are not DOOM. There is no God mode. There is no cheat code to raise your money, give you all the weapons, or automatically repair your units to turn the tables against the computer AI when it is kicking your ass for the 20th time this week. The game requires SKILL and INTELLIGENCE, something AOLamers seem to have neither of, judging from the whiny messages I am seeing lately. There are hack programs for C&C and RA for building your own missions and maps. These can be used as cheat programs if you're smart enough to know how to use them, but I doubt an AOLamer falls into that category. I have never seen a mission or map come from anyt...@aol.com All e-mail responses from AOL.COM will be kill-filtered, so don't waste your time.
