As can be shown by a great many of Doomers', Duke Nukem 3ders', and Dark Forces players, many of the maps/missions that are available to be downloaded, are junk. I downloaded a total of about 4 new levels for Doom II, of which none have been saved, and 2-3 for Dark Forces, also none of which I saved. Why? They where junk. Simplistic layouts, and the main difficulty was the fact that there were only the harder enemies (cyberdemons/Dark Troopers/Boba Fett [yes, one DF lvl actually had 6! Boba Fetts!]) Levels created by the creators tend to be more play based. > > > I would buy an expensive disc coz: > > > > > > 1) it takes too long to download off the net, 100 files probably no > > > less that a couple of hours. > > > 2) It's made by Westwood, and if we support them, they support us. > > > > Sorry but i've supported Westwood long enough. Is RA unbalanced? In solo play, somewhat. I can't speak for multi-player, as I have yet to try. All we can do is continue to make our veiws known about what appear to be the largest play inconsistencies in the game, and if Westwood listens, they will fix them. RA does not require a patch, as the tank rush is not a bug, and the game is playable in its' current form. Westwood appears to listen to what is said about their software, and I feel that they will rectify the problem. As for purchasing the Counterstrike add-on, I doubt you will see it for more than $20-30. While $30 is high for an add-on, wait a few months, and you'll probably see it on the $19.99 and under rack. If we don't support Westwood, Westwood won't support us, and then no one is happy. -- Jason A. ->They've got us surrounded again, the poor bastards. -> General Creighton W.
