I have been attempting to access Westwood Chat in order to play Red Alert over the Internet. Problems- 1) I have installed Westwood Chat a number of times - this is the result!! WCHAT caused an invalid page fault in module WCHAT.DAT at 0137:0044893a. Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=0137 EIP=0044893a EFLGS=00010203 EBX=0072fd30 SS=013f ESP=0072f9d0 EBP=0072f9e4 ECX=0072fc05 DS=013f ESI=00850101 FS=3f2f EDX=10000079 ES=013f EDI=0072fd30 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8a 50 73 88 55 ff 68 00 01 00 00 e8 82 b0 03 00 Stack dump: 00000000 00850101 0072fd30 00442328 0085319c 0072fcb4 004495d2 0072fd30 00000136 00000134 00400000 0000000a 575c3a45 57545345 5c444f4f 4e414c50 2) Red Alert crashes when my Internet Provider's access software is running. (Pipeline UK). The program gets stuck accessing the CD-ROM - light blinks regularly indicating error. This ONLY happens when I have dialed up my Internet 3) I have downloaded updated Trident/SB16 drivers - DirectX does not certify this. As a result game performance is severly reduced. Any help resolving the above would be appreciated. Many Thanks Andy Drake -and...@uk.pipeline.com
