Apparently Westwood wanted to avoid the mistake Blizzard made with the Naval units in War2; in War2, whoever starts churning out subs faster will win the game, because whoever controls the seas will never run out of resources, while whoever loses out will choke early on. Air units would be easily countered by a player who has enough money/stuff to build their own AF. In RA, the allies TOTALLY dominate on the sea; cruisers kick ass. So Westwood gives the cruiser-killing sub to the Soviets. BUT Gunboats and Destroyers waste subs, so Westwood gives MiGs to the Soviets. . .so on the sea things are ALMOST even. So why didn't Westwood bother to even things up on land?! Sure, turrets work great against the computer's tank rushes in skirmish mode, but if I ever play Allies vs. a Soviet player I'm going to get my ass whooped. Ideas? --Kidd kidd2...@aol.com "A little ignorance goes a long way." --Solomon Short
