The classic comedy, Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin is available
for a few days on TCM on demand. The film is about factory driven
crazy by the machines. The film is still very relevant today--we
see management trying to eke out ever more production out of the
workers. They even had CCTV to spy on workers sneaking a break
in the bathroom.

Also on TCM on demand is the film "A Face in the Crowd", about
an egotistic man who is turned to a huge superstar by TV
producers. The guy ends up with an outsized ego. Worth
watch for today's political world.
