This is airing on MeTV. One episode had a computer doing a search. It looked like a S/360 model 30. Generally, they had tight closeups of the controls on the card reader and then the printer, and tapes whirling. A bunch of cards emerged in different stackers, and then one came out by itself--that had the desired information. Hawaii was served by General Telephone. The show accurately shows GTE telephone sets (not Western Electric). The difference is very subtle, but there (the dial sounds different). The "look and feel" of the show is similar to Mannix. But there doesn't seem to be any connection, other than it was made at the same time, so the drama and filming techniques of the era were probably similar.
