Must be somewhen around now. But 60 years makes them seem to be antediluvian instead of the leading lights as once they were. That styling of the PDP series still, to my mind, looks futuristic. Anybody here worked in the Maynard Woollen mill that features in some of the PDP8 small computer handbooks?

I didn't work there, but I did visit a friend once who did. Not sure what year, but I do recall seeing a wave-solder machine placed directly beneath a large glob (several cubic feet in volume) of lanolin which had accreted from processing on the floor above, and was hanging from the ceiling. Recall that the building had produced blankets for the Civil War. I wish I'd had a camera with me. I was in the neighborhood a few months ago and decided to drive by. The building is still standing and looks very nice. It's partly rented out to a few businesses including a brewery. But I think most of it is empty. Now I have a few pictures, but no good way to show them to you.

Now I have a few pictures, but no good way to show them to you. If they are already digital, or if you can scan them into such, you could always upload them to imgur.com and post the links! I would love to see them. Niklas -- It's as if H.P. Some of the older photo share sites now want payment for linking to show people off site the uploads.
