Low power electronic circuits--contract integrity (1961)

There was considerable interest in the WUTR article on corrosion
in electronic circuits, especially when caused by various
environmental circumstances.

WUTR ran another article on the integrity of contacts used
in lower-power electronic circuits. In electrical circuits,
the power/voltage is high enough to usually burn off
contaminants on switch contacts. But in electronic circuits,
the power/voltage is so low that better control is needed.

While some of the suggestions are likely dated, there are
probably some good ideas in it:

Oops, link to article should read:

(other link was to WUTR in general. The old issues are definitely
worth a look by anyone interested in technology history.)
