This probably isn't the right newsgroup for this, but here goes. I have an old Sanyo MBC-555 MS-Dos machine (vintage early eighties, yeah yeah I know, it's only a young 'un) Anyway, this particular machine generally hates most MS-DOS software, but some companies in America did develop applications/games to work with it's screwy screen setup. Actually, for it's day the screen probably wasn't so bad (quite good high resolution graphics in the days of no graphics IBM machines). Does anybody else actually own one of these orphans? Can somebody point me to a source of software for it? I really hate to throw it away because it's built like a brick outhouse and I've kinda grown fond of it. On a totally unrelated note, I also have an old UNIX machine at home (some form of old 68K mini) that runs System 3. The C Shell on it doesn't appear to have the job control stuff that I'm used to (like the fg, bg and Ctrl-Z things). Is there source for C Shell (or something like it) lying around somewhere that I can recompile and place on this old clunker? (I love those 8 inch floppies). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- David Rubie Programmer Computer Science Australian Defence Force Academy.
