About three years ago, the MIS department for a firm I worked for wanted a file transfer program, to move its vital records from the host down to PC's over an ARCnet LAN that nobody really understood. I happily developed the "MIS FILE" program. As far as I know, people out there still happily "MISFILE" their data, daily. Who knows if they even notice the name ? -- Mischa Sandberg ..!uunet!van-bc!mindlink!Mischa_Sandberg

A friend of mine is the co-author of a commercial disk optimizer for the Amiga - it's called "B.A.D." (Blitz A Disk) We were discussing what the upcoming upgrade should be called - my vote was for "Even Worse", he wanted "Ugly" (as in Good, Bad, etc.) but he finally settled for "B.A.D. 4.0". Oh, well... . <<<<Infinite K>>>> -- |Ben Scott, professional goof-off and consultant at The Raster Image, Denver| |FIDO point address 1:104/421.2, bsc...@nyx.cs.du.edu, or BBS (303)424-9831 | |"Quantum Mechanics: The dreams that || The Raster Image IS responsible for| | stuff is made of..." - Michael Sinz || everything I say! ** Amiga Power**|
