Can someone explain where the symbol for ANSI (Americal National
Standards Institute) came from?
In case you haven't seen it, it looks like the following:
__
| | |
|__| |
/| |
/ |___|
Is there some signifigance to that?

That symbol is the symbol for Underwriter's Laboratories, which is the company that tests electronic & other equiptment for public usage. It is not the symbol of ANSI, although they might be related. -- al...@chaos.cs.brandeis.edu | Reality is a function of the delusion factor MB 3130/Brandeis University | For those about to Rock, we salute you!
