	Way back when it was Star Office by a German software house called
StarDivision I was involved in setting up a system to accept Word documents
(among other formats) and generate PDFs. We evaluated a commercial solution
that basically wrapped Word and Star Office - even back then it did a
better job than Word on anything that wasn't from the exact version of Word
we had.

	However the Word solution came with a bit of paper that said it
would work and the Star Office one didn't and the bit of paper was deemed
more important than evidence.
