Brendan McKay has repeatedly stated that he has demonstrated the the same phenomenon for the text of Moby Dick, and he has provided documentation. The Codes quacks were making their claims amidst all sorts of ridiculous cloak-and-dagger secrecy for something like 20 years before they finally got their article published as something of a lark for the journal involved. McKay has published his rebuttal within a few months of the furor raised by Drosnin, and it may take some time before a peer-reviewed journal can accept it. In fact, his willingness to allow public scrutiny might even hurt his chances of achieving such acceptance. But the "codes" are there for all to see. Is there the same "density"--haven't the foggiest. But if there is a difference, it is likely explainable by factors such as the differing natures of English and Hebrew and the question of whether vowel sounds should be included or not, without resorting to supernatural mumbo jumbo or divine intervention.
