The most obvious way to tell is to take the ram back out and see what
happens..If the faults go away then chances are very good that that is the
problem. f that doesn't solve the problem then it is possible that one of
the other ram chips has gone bad...try different combinations to see if you
still get these faults.
If these brings no satisfaction and you still get faults...check to
see what you have added recently to your system...new hard drive etc...
maybe even a new piece of software...Basically this is what I would do if I
was in your situation...hope you have a day to spare :)

1. check the ram as per first paragraph...
2. try to remember if you have recentley installed any new software..games
especially using direct x or other drivers...if you have, try uninstalling
them.
3. preferably backup your system and to a complete format of your hard
drive.
4. If option #3 is not good for you then just try re-installing windows.
5. if none of the obove offers no solutions then my next step would be to
check the cache on the motherboard..if you have a cache module then remove
it and try running windows again.
6. try getting ahold of another cpu chip and try running windows.
7. the only other solutions I would have is to keep checking the remaining
hardware starting with the motherboard, hard drive, cd-rom then floppy.
good luck
