In those same cultures men have the obligation to protect and defend the woman from assault on her person including her spiritual health, physical health, and emotional health. In those cultures where men have left the role of protector and not allowed the woman to voice her opinion in the safety of the home, the society has been destroyed. When a man fails to be a husband, which means to cultivate, the woman is forced to leave her obligation to train the next generation and improve society through education. You say women should not have the right to vote. I say they have earned the right to vote and to take an active role in our community. In the days of the ancient, the community was concerned in the raising of the children. First the community was the family composed of cousins sisters, brothers and other relatives. In that community the wife had equal responsibility. In the bible Eve is listed as a help mate. NOT A SLAVE. She was to provide care to Adam and their children. It was Adam who allowed Eve to consume the fruit he was standing beside her during her temptation. Instead of trusting the Lord he went with his Hormones and followed her in to SIN. King David was shown compassion by Elizabeth when her husband refused to allow David to feed his sheep. Her vote kept her husband alive. Look at the other woman of the bible you will see woman who exercised their god given gifts to the benefit of the Man in their lives. If this does not give all woman the right to express themselves in the voting booth than it is a sorry society that you desire for us to live in.
