An episode of "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" had a scene in which a big pow-wow was called by the tribal council at the Indian reservation. This was a trial to determine the fate of a white man. Dr. Quinn asked why squaws were present. It was explained to her that the squaws had a vote in the council's verdict because it was thought that squaws see things from a "different perspective." The moral of the story is this: if you want to run your society right down into the ground like a sub-Third World Native American Indian village, then allow your "squaws" to have a say in how your society should be managed! Repeal females' right to vote! Repeal females' right to vote! I'm serious.
