There's nothing like a good debugging war story -- go on, then!

I've been learning PDP-10 assembler lately (through playing with ITS);
it's a really interesting architecture from the perspective of someone
who grew up with 80s micros. The combination of regularity and multiple
ways to do similar operations means there's a very satisfying
puzzle-solving aspect to it...
