I have one of these in my loft. While I did use the earlier D1 (or at
least an earlier 6800 dev kit at Uni), this kit came to me much later -
long after the 6800 had (essentially) slipped into uP history.

The D2 kit I have consists of two boards, essentially a processor board
and a board with a simple keyboard and 7 segment display. They seem to
have been 'self assembled', I assume by the person I 'inherited' them from.

Looking on the Internet, I've seen some other D2 kits but they are in
'brief cases'.

Does anyone know if the brief case was standard or if others have
simply added one for protection.
