No concept of *design life* or planned obsolescence back then. Still
have a nos IBM keyboard, says TPE on the front badge, but has a 9
pin D on the cable and a sheet saying only for use on the IBM PC-AT.
 From memory, the AT keyboards had a din plug on the cable, but
maybe mistaken...
