I've cleaned up enough messes left behind by consultants
that I really appreciate those Dilbert cartoons where
Dogbert is involved.  Too often I've seen cases where
a consultant has come in, written a piece of garbage,
then skipped out with the money, leaving us to pick up
the pieces.

I'm not saying that there aren't good consultants out there.
But to paraphrase that old lawyer joke, 90% of consultants
give the other 10% a bad name.
