It is true that today we have just-in-time compilation techniques that 
reduce the overhead of simulating other architectures in software.

It's not true that they're 100% efficient or 100% guaranteed to work 
perfectly with every piece of existing shrink-wrapped software. 
Which is the reason almost nobody would want to bother with a computer 
with a different CPU.
