I still "use" them today ever so often. Though I not have any vintage hardware I love it - wouldn't read here otherwise. Thanks to emulators I can run any kind of system. I recently ran a Commodore 64 in an emulator to re-play the game Elite and others video games, checked out one of Microsoft's first spread sheets (Multiplan) on the C64... I also use emulators to run iconic systems and ancient software on them. For example I wanted to know how it feels to run WordStar on an Osborne 1, which I also documented on Youtube along with the spread sheet SuperCalc and others. I can post the links here if anyone is interested. Sure it feels odd today, crude as they are after today's standards. But back in the day I was too young to have the chance to experience these things like for myself. -- Andreas MAME emulator https://news-commentaries.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-mame-emulator.html
