I know about AOL/Yahoo. I set up AOL forwarding for a friend. I switched from Verizon/Yahoo to GMAIL about a year ago. I forward my old verizon/yahoo email to GMAIL. With the verizon/yahoo account I got up to 30 spams a day. GMAIL, 1 or 2. I use IMAP to access the GMAIL inbox and clean the remaining Spam there using Spamassassin. Spamassassin catches the 1 or 2 that GMAIL misses. Something gets thru Spamassassin maybe once a month. -- Dan Espen
