Swindlers tell people here that better treatments are available in the US. The Irish health system is being privatised, to get quick treatment, you have to go private. A man told me recently that his sister, who lives in South Carolina, went to see a doctor, and an immediate operation was advised, so she went to the car dealer, sold her car, to pay a downpayment for the operation. I don't know how she got home from the hospital. > >> >> There are a lot of places where economy of scale matters. > > To compare US health costs to Europe's, you have to split the > US' up 50 ways but nobody does that when discussing this topic. > > /BAHa There are pictures on the internet of American Football mamagers, compared to European Soccer managers. IT shows part of the real problem. -- greymaus.ireland.ie Just_Another_Grumpy_Old_Man
