Someone once pointed out to me that the command 'core' at a
Mail prompt would cause the mailer to dump core and print the message
"Okey dokey--core dumped." (This was under V7, I don't know if the
feature's still there.)
So I tried it, giggled a little, and then ran 'strings' on the
core file, and somewhere in there I found the message "Thou hast new mail."
I tried for _weeks_ to figure out under what circumstances the
mailer would actually print that. I never did find out.
