On Data General AOS/VS systems, you will see that the root
dates from 1967.  Do this:

) f/s/as : <NL>

This may not be so on AOS/VS-II systems.

Another fun fact about AOS/VS systems is this:  guess what
happens when you type "xyzzy"?  No joke--it's written
into the system.
