$By the way, there is NO TRUTH to the assertation that people thought the
$world was coming to an end in the year 1000. It was 1239, based on a
$prophecy of Joachim of Fiore. Their arbitrary numbers were different
$from our arbitrary numbers. Guess a degree in Medieval Studies is worth
$something :-)
Hmm ... I wonder if anyone will claim that the world will end sometime
in the year 1998, as it is 3 x 666? Did anyone have the same thought in
1332 or in 666?
Isn't it interesting to see how far off the computer folklore topic
we can get? :-)
