There was a program called FOOLS which did this on an Apple ][, which I had a
bit of fun with in high school, for that matter.  It had appeared in Softside
as an April Fools joke, and for some reason the teacher (who also had an apple
][) brought a copy to class.  After I left it running on a few computers
once, the teacher deleted all copies of it on the floppies (nobody brought
their own).  By that time I had placed it after the end of the HELLO program,
and was able to get a copy any time I want by loading HELLO and deleting the
first few lines, so it stayed around for some time.
