Hi!
A short while ago a person posted here a treatise on electronic
communication regarded as folklore. (I can't find the copy I printed
out so I can't give credit. )-:
I'm currently teaching an introduction to computing course, and I'd
like to have the students get some exposure to the folklore (as the
author defined it) of computing. In order to do this I'd like to give
my students some tried and true computer folklore that has been
kicking around on the net for years, and have them word process it as
their introduction to word processing.
If you've got any of this type of material (Poly Nomial, that sort of
thing..) (the purity test would probably be a bit much :-) could y'all
mail it to me so that I could distribute it? If there's interest,
I'll summarize and post to the net.
Thanks!
